The Territorial Programme +SOLO +VIDA and the collaboration of the University of Évora’s MED were featured in the Rede Rural Nacional.
MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development – from the University of Évora, participates in +SOLO +VIDA, represented by the researcher Maria Helena Guimarães.
This entity provides technical support in the implementation and development of a model of local, collaborative and inclusive governance.
Based on this proposal, new participation methodologies and cooperation mechanisms are being tested for the replication of good agroforestry practices, namely for the control of soil degradation and restoration, in close consultation with the competent entities and interested parties
The aim is to integrate the vision of all agents of the Guadiana Valley Natural Park, inserted in the municipalities of Serpa and Mértola in moments of reflection and decision-making to find solutions that benefit everyone!
